Local Land Services will share information at a Boots on the Ground session at the Batemans Bay Community Centre on November 9 from 9am.
Members of the new Sustainable Land Management team can explain codes and payments for private land conservation.
“They can provide tailored advice on applying the new land management code of practice, accessing incentives for protecting native vegetation and where required navigating approvals for clearing or development,” a spokeswoman said.
“Boots on the ground will ensure farmers know their options and are supported in making good, short, medium and long-term choices for their business.
“The new framework will provide a better system than what is currently available. It will increase flexibility for farmers and will provide better environmental outcomes across NSW.
“Farmers are uniquely placed to support environmental outcomes for the broader community, themselves and future generations.”
