In the U12s, Tuggeranong beat Belconnen in the final to take the title, while in the U14s, the Valley Dragons triumphed against the Gungahlin Bulls.
Bay tigers president Nathan Forrest was extremely happy with the day, and said that the feedback that he received from the visiting teams and clubs was that the day was “an overwhelming success.”
More 240 players from as far as Eden in the south, and Yass out west, travelled to the tournament which featured four pools of four teams in each age group.
After three pool games were played by each team, the top team in each pool contested the semi finals.
In the U12s, the respective pool winners were Batemans Bay Tigers, Woden Valley Rams, Tuggeranong Buffaloes and Belconnen Sharks.
In the U14s, the pool winners were Batemans Bay Tigers, Narooma Devils, Gungahlin Bulls and Valley Dragons.
The Bay Tigers Juniors now move onto the annual Group 16 Bibbenluke carnival in a fortnight, where all ages from U7s through to U16s will be participating.
