The high school, in collaboration with the Batemans Bay Visitor’s Centre, is exhibiting works from the school’s 2016 HSC Visual Arts class.
Artworks from the students’ final bodies of work will be on display at the centre until December 21.
The exhibition is an opportunity for students to showcase their works in the wider community.
“The kids put all this effort into their beautiful pieces, and after the HSC, they go in a drawer and nobody else sees them,” a Visitor’s Centre spokesperson said.
“We thought it would be nice for the community to see what level of expertise they have.
“The pieces are just incredible.”
Artworks from Jesse Craven, Lily Christie Daly, Kate Prendergast, Konstantinos Katsanis, Ema Harman, Lacey Chalker and Hannah Browne will be up for viewing.
Topaz Eaton, whose artwork was selected for ARTEXPRESS, was one of the students present at the exhibit’s opening night on Thursday, December 8, along with proud teacher Michele Anuyahong.
Members of the public are invited to the exhibition, open from 9am-5pm, seven days a week, until December 21.
