Also enjoying themselves, Jacki's son Nick took his beautiful bride of several years Carolyn, out for a slap-up wedding anniversary dinner at a chain restaurant. Nick is thinking of coaching other men in the art of keeping your woman happy, on a budget!
Visiting the Bay from Bungendore, the Marshall family of Rob, Holly, children Bree, Harper and 10-month-old twin boys Benji and Lucas. The family love the coast and intend on coming down on a more regular basis. No doubt you will soon see the twins surfing at Denhams Beach!
The Bay Post's illustrious leader also had a birthday this week. Happy birthday Kerrie O'Connor, you don't look a day over 21!
So once again a warning about a Viagogo! Although I had no trouble, Ellen Birrell from Tomakin and her friend Joan Boss paid for D section and ended up in J section, up where the bats hang out!
As well as not being able to see Adele other than as a pink sparkling spot in the distance, the audio was so bad they had trouble hearing her, a big shame because Joan knows every word to every Adele song and wanted to be a backing singer on the night!
A huge thank you to the Batemans Bay community from Marg and Howard Vidgen and their family for the love and support they have received over the last 8 months. The community joined to celebrate the life of Marg and Howard's son David who passed away recently. David was a typical Aussie larrikin who was so loved by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him and share his life. Too young to go but forever in our hearts and minds, Vale David.
Happy Birthday to beautiful Geraldine Curry from Denhams Beach who turned 90 during last week. Geraldine is an inspiration to everyone. Kick your heels up Geraldine and maybe take your board down to the beach today instead of your usual walk!
