The competition is an initiative of Greens MP David Shoebridge who will present the winning photographers with their prizes on Saturday, June 9, at the Gallery Bodalla.
The competition is in its 3rd year and the deadline for entries is May 28.
The top 30 images will be on display at the Gallery on the June 9 and 10 and the winning entries will be announced in Eurobodalla on the weekend of the June long weekend.
Prizes of $100 gift vouchers will be awarded in the following categories; the image that most evokes a connection with an animal in the wild in Australia, the most beautiful image of a bird in the wild, the image that conveys the threats facing native animals, the most beautiful image of an animal in the wild by a photographer aged 16 years or under.
