On completion of the meal the awards for table exhibits were presented to the winners in each category. The overall successful exhibitor was club president Magda Smyth who accepted her trophy to resounding applause.
The proceedings were completed with a lucky door prize draw. Each member (and partner) was given an entry ticket upon arrival and the lucky ones received small gifts.
The club has had a busy, active year with an interesting array of guest speakers, several garden visits, bus trips and barbecues.
Members will reconvene for the next monthly meeting (in the Anglican Church Hall) at 2pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019. This is usually a friendly, long afternoon tea to enable members to re-acquaint and welcome new members to the club.
Guests and new members are always welcome to attend club meetings which start at 2pm in the church hall.
