Variety the Children’s Charity has donated a raft of play equipment to the Corrigans Reserve Inclusive Playground at a total cost of $90,000.

This is in addition to the highly popular Carousel which cost a similar sum.
Installation of the new equipment should be complete by the end of next month.
President of The Bay Push group – the organisation behind the development of the playground – Charles Stuart, said the donation was a beautiful example of giving back.
“I’ve been a member of variety for 28 years a volunteer,” Mr Stuart said.
“I was able to convince Variety the playground suited their aims and ideals.
“It’s the charity I support, and now they’re supporting me and my home town.”
The donation is the first step in stage two of the playground.
