The Seahawks had just 16 players take to the field for the semi, but still managed to get the result, winning 6.8.44 to 6.6.42.
Despite a limited playing roster, the Seahawks weren’t about to give in to the minor premiers and outscored their opponents in the first half to open up a 28 point deficit at the main break.
It was then that the Tigers, who sportingly made sure only 16 of their players took to the field, kicked into gear, outscoring the Seahawks in the third quarter. A thrilling final quarter followed, with the home side reducing the deficit to less than a goal, only to have the final siren sound.
Among the standouts for the Seahawks were Seb Giri, Lachy Malcolm, Jed Lee and Tyler Loveridge.
The Seahawks will now play the winner of Uladulla and Bomaderry in the grand final at Hanging Rock Oval on September 11.
