Far South Coast police are urging Eurobodalla residents to be vigilant in securing valuable items at home, work and in vehicles.

“There have been incidents of property theft from utes, work vehicles, work sheds and rural properties in recent times,” a spokesman said.
“Items have included chainsaws, work tools, plant and mobile phones.”
Police urge the public to remove valuables from vehicles if unattended.
“If this is not possible, the items should be secured in lockable cabinets,” the spokesman said.
“The same applies to work sheds: secure the items in locked premises when unattended.”
With the theft of firearms in the Bega region last week, Far South Coast LAC Police are reminding firearms licence holders to be vigilant with storage of guns and ammunition.
The Bega firearms were recovered by police.
