Dancers turned out in force for the Bay Stampede at Batemans Bay Soldiers Club and danced their way to $1300 for Muddy Puddles.
Organisers of the annual stampede called on “all dancers, past and present to come and support the event”.
It worked, attracting 65 dancers from Milton, Ulladulla, Nowra, Braidwood, Canberra and from the Eurobodalla.
“A great afternoon was had by all,” Bayliner Josephine Lake said.
Ms Lake thanked the many businesses who donated prizes for raffles etc.
The Bayliners welcome beginners to their Thursday classes, from 3-5pm, at the Soldiers Club and no bookings are needed.
Experienced dancers meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7pm at the club.
