Given the short notice, the Boars travelled with only 10 players, but were able to borrow a couple from their opponents to get 14 on the field.
The game featured seven girls from the ACT school girls side, with our very own Colby Heron in action for the Boars.
The game was played in three 20-minute thirds, with a experienced referee helping the girls with the rules. The Boars coaches and supporters were impressed at the quality of the rugby on display. The Boars will be at the dry swim this Sunday with the boys from empower rugby for an information session about the program. For more info check the junior Boars Facebook page.
