A 19-year-old man lost three teeth, suffered a broken nose and cuts to the head when a group of men bashed him outside a licensed premises in Queanbeyan in the early hours of last Friday morning.

Police said the Batemans Bay teenager had intervened earlier when a man nearby tried to accost a woman while waiting for a taxi about 1:30am and the issue appeared to have been resolved.
However, a short time later the victim was punched in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground, and hit his head on the road.
A group of attackers then surrounded the man and repeatedly kicked him while he was lying on the ground, before fleeing in a taxi.
The attackers were described as male, Caucasian, aged between 20 and 25-years-old and wearing yellow fluoro workwear. One of the men had dreadlocks.
The man was taken to Queanbeyan Hospital, where he was treated for bruising, swelling and cuts to the head.
There was believed to be several witnesses to the assault and police urged them to come forward.
