The Tigers’ leader scored back-to-back tries late in the game to take his personal tally to three and give his side the final say in a hard-fought contest, the final score 40-26.
Harrison said he was proud of the resilience shown by the Tigers in the final match of the season.
“All the guys stuck together really well not only today, but throughout the season,” he said.
“We may have lost the game, but we did well to come back towards the end, and hopefully we can continue to do that moving forward.”
It didn’t take the visitors long to assert their authority in the first half, as tries to Rod Ceasar, Clint Wright and Lance Wright helped the Devils to a 24-10 lead at the break.
Three more tries to Ceasar after the break, including a skilful piece of ball handling which led to him scoring a ninety metre try, had the Devils out to a 40-10 lead midway through the second half.
The Tigers rallied towards the end of the match to score three unanswered tries in the last twenty minutes, and finish within 15 points of their opponents on the day.
Eighteen-year-old, Ryan Connell, was among the stand outs for the Tigers.
The margin was more sizeable in the reserves, with Narooma romping to a convincing 62-4 victory.
Narooma’s league tag team also came out on top, winning 30-4.
Harrison said the club must now focus on improving for next season.
“We’ll take some time to reflect on this year, and then hopefully come back stronger,” he said.
