Held at Bega Recreational Ground, the side played a total of six games as part of the competition, which incorporated teams from Group 16 and also Canberra.
The team didn’t come through the day unscathed, with three players forced off to hospital with minor injuries.
Despite being pushed to the limit, the side rallied in the final to beat Tathra 24-0 and take the title.
Coach, Justin Taylor, said he couldn’t be prouder of the way his team performed.
“It turned out to be a pretty tough day for us and the boys were pretty buggered by the end,” he said.
“They’re a great bunch of kids and they all put in maximum effort on the day.
“I wouldn’t be able to pick a standout because everyone did their jobs really well.”

The Bay Tigers initially nominated two U12 teams for the competition but, with the injury count piling, players were forced to double up meaning they played six games instead of the usual four.
Their biggest test came against Narooma in the semi finals where the team was forced to come back 12-4 down to eventually win 14-12.
The U12s weren’t the only Batemans Bay side to enjoy success on the day, with the U10s making it to the semi final of the age competition.
While there were no finals in the U7s, 8s and 9s divisions, the younger tigers also enjoyed the day.
It is back to the regular competition this week, with the U12 set to take on Merimbula away this Saturday morning.
The side currently sit top of the Group 16 ladder in what is their first year back in the competition.
