The benefits of de-sexing our feline friends are great; it reduces the likelihood of cancer, and are less likely to wander or to get in to fights which is good news for vet bills and local wildlife.
The AWL is a sponsor of National De-sexing Month. Should you wish to have an animal de-sexed, be it cat, dog, guinea pig or rat, speak to your vet to see if they are part of the scheme and then call our welfare officer on 0466 012 426 to organise a voucher. We have plenty of kittens and cats available for rehoming, contact Shelagh on 0410 016 612.
