Just under half of the participants recorded personal bests showing practice brings improvement or, more likely the lure of a warm drink is the best encouragement.
Bede Webster was first home comfortably inside the 20-minute mark, followed by first-timers Tony Chapman and Craig Eppelstun in 21.13 and 21.34 respectively.
Three more runs and Bede will join the hallowed “100 runs” club, which is a fantastic achievement.
Karena Durden took over 1 minute from her PB to take the honours for the ladies in 23.40, followed by Gabrielle Shearman of the celebrated Ulladulla Rats in 24.27.
At 3rd and with the remarkable achievement of beating her PB for the 4th time in row was Gloria Masiero, ever closer to the 25-minute mark with 25.03.
Well done to Gail Legg on another PB of 28.11, stripping a massive four minutes from her previous best.
A big thanks to our volunteers this week, Chloe Gorzalka, Manny Byrne, Gavin Mackay, Kaylene Peach, Tess Gallen, and first-time run director Deb McCartney.
