Spirit Divers, of Batemans Bay, has secured guest speaker and host Adam Stern, a three-times national record holder in the sport.

“Adam recently dived to 100m at the prestigious Vertical Blue Freediving Championship in the Bahamas,” Free Spirit spokesman Rad Goff said.

“We want people to learn about avoiding shallow water blackout and keeping safe in the water,” Mr Goff said.

“Free diving is about inward power, discipline and control.”​

The safety seminar will be held at the Bayview Hotel on May 28 at 6pm.
