Although they did not place, the Platnium Pole and Fitness Batemans Bay students said they learnt a lot.
Charmaine Brereton said the competition was tough.
“You learn a bit each time. This was probably the one competition I felt really good about. I was disappointed I didn't place but some of the girls were incredible. They inspired me to lift my game,” she said.
“I got some good feedback from the judges. I need to work to slow down my moves and improve my expressions.”
Ms Brereton said she was already preparing for competitions in August and November.
