Television personality, chef and painter Peter Russell-Clarke in the home that he shares with Jan, his wife of 57 years.
Russell-Clarke had Chinese foster parents when growing up - so Asian condiments have a permanent place in his pantry.
"There's little gadgetry in my kitchen," says Russell-Clarke. This Kambrook blender is an exception - he also keeps a bicycle pump for cooking duck.
His toolkit always includes good knives.
Beans are a staple in his kitchen. Sometimes he'll have garlicky beans mixed with butter and mirin, which he serves with yoghurt, greens, horseradish and cevapcici sausages.
"Rose petals have four times the Vitamin C of oranges," he says. The celebrity chef likes to use it in dressings.
Russell-Clarke admits "it's very boring", but he likes all foods. He's not pedantic about health issues, but tries to eat well.
A bike pump might seem like a strange object to keep in a kitchen, but Russell-Clarke uses it to cook duck - it helps keep the skin extra crisp.
"I'm rarely without a cup of green tea with ginger. It's clean and healthy."
