Dennis Green was the first to score, finishing off a slick backline movement and Michael Weyman was next with a barge over from close range.
Jake Clarke tested his hamstring with a four-pointer of his own after stepping his way through some outside defenders, prior to outpacing the cover defence to the try line.
Winger Jermaine Connolly was the next to score, finishing off another enterprising backline movement.
To its credit Bombala kept coming, and were rewarded with tries in quick succession to Group 16 centre Joe Bobbin, and then to Brett Hodack, who barged over from a well-worked move close to the line.
The half ended with the Sharks consolidating their lead with a second try to Dennis Green and a typical bustling run from hooker Luke Jay.
The Sharks greeting the half-time siren with a commanding 34-12 lead.
The Sharks dominated the second half, with half-back Justin Bell backing himself and making a jinking cross field run to score wide out.
Caine Brierley then chimed in after a perfectly-timed pass from his brother, Aaron, allowing him to stroll across the line untouched. Jay crossed for his second soon after, followed by Lee Nye claiming a try after he pounced on a deft kick into the corner by Aaron Brierley.
Scoring was completed by Caine Brierley, who posted his second after some good lead up work from the forwards and Aaron Brierley capped off a good day with the boot kicking eight goals from 11 attempts. The final score an impressive 60-12 victory to Moruya, who showed too much class for the mountain men.
Coach Tim Weyman was happy with the effort by his side and praised everyone who contributed in what was a great team effort.
The referees awarded points to Luke Jay and Alex Stewart from Moruya, while Stewart was nominated as players’ player by his peers in his first home game.
