The family of James Luckel says he was last seen in Batemans Bay on February 14, 2016, and hold grave fears for his welfare.

Sue Luckel says her son, James Luckel, 35, who suffers from bi-polar disorder, was seen in Batemans Bay CBD on February 14.

He had earlier left The Rocks Youth Hostel Australia on January 22, leaving personal items including his phone and identity documents behind.

Mrs Luckel said her son had been reported as a missing person to NSW Police.

She said the family were seriously concerned for his welfare and sought the help of the public in finding him.

She asked anyone seeing him to contact their nearest police station.

Mr Luckel’s sister Emma-Louise Moss said the family was “extremely worried”.

“He has been missing for well over a month now and my family and I are extremely worried about his welfare,” she said in a social media post.

“He has no ID, no phone and only the clothes on his back.

“Please, please help us find him.”
