Smith and Jake Shaw of Pambula were picked following interviews with branch officials at Bermagui over the weekend.
The award recognises the achievements and contributions of the pair of under 14s to surf life saving and the community.
Branch officials were rapt in the calibre of nominations and said it was difficult to pick just one boy and one girl to represent the branch at the week-long development program in April.
The branch gave a special mention to Kallan Lavender (Pambula) and Ryley Spoedler-Hanlon (Moruya), who will receive a highly commended award.
