The 222nd Australian Army Cadet Unit is looking for new recruits and is also looking to raise funds for a planned trip to Norfolk Island later this year.

The unit is also looking for ways to raise money or donations to help get unit ranking officers to Norfolk Island at the end of April for Anzac day.
The unit recently held a recruitment evening and meets each Tuesday at Carroll College Broulee from 6.30pm.
“Come along and find out about Australian Army Cadets, even if you think is way out of your comfort zone come along anyway, through cadets you learn life long skills and make friends you'll keep for a lifetime,” organisers say.
The 222 cadet unit parades on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 9pm and does a wide range of activities, including radios, first aid, drill, how to be a leader, teamwork participate in bivouacs do an annual camp, participate in promotion courses, Chief of Army courses, adventure training award courses, cadet exchanges, overseas trips make lots of new friends that you will keep for life.
Cadets is suited to anybody of any gender, no matter their physical size. It's a great opportunity for younge people to give back to the community and learn life skills the age requirement for Australian army cadets is 12.5 to 18 years of age.
