A man and a woman on the Far South Coast have been charged with the alleged supply of prohibited drugs after a strike force investigation.

Police said, in July 2015, detectives from Bega and Far South Coast Target Action Group formed a Strike Force to investigate ongoing drug supply.
About 9am on Wednesday, February 3, police said officers attended a home on the Princes Highway, Narooma and arrested a 48-year-old woman.
She was taken to Narooma Police Station where she was charged with ongoing supply of prohibited drug offences.
She appeared in Bega Local Court on Thursday, February 4.
Police said officers at about 9am on Thursday attended a home on Bermagui Road, Cobargo and arrested a 53-year-old man.
He was taken to Bega Police Station where he was charged with three counts of supplying prohibited drugs, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing ammunition.
He was refused bail and will appear in Moruya Local Court on Friday, February 5.
Police will allege they located a small amount of the drug known as ‘Ice’, cannabis leaf and ammunition during a search of the man’s Cobargo home on Thursday.
