4:00PM: We are finishing our live blog for the day. It has been a great day getting among all the action of the annual district show. There is lots still happening at Moruya Showground for the Eurobodalla District Show. The rodeo starts at 7PM – we will have all the thrills and spills up from the rodeo on Sunday morning.
3:50PM: The sun is shining and everyone is having fun. The kids are enjoying the reptile show and face painting stall.
The motorbike obstacle course is keeping a large crowd entertained.
3:40PM: The motorbike demonstration was a hit with the crowd.
3:35PM: We have added more photos to our social gallery.
3:20PM: Competitors are getting ready for the shoeing task in the stockman’s challenge.

2.30PM: Nice to catch up with David Whip and hear his stories about newspapers in the Eurobodalla and their history. Great to show him our new mobile way of working.
2.05PM: The Moruya and District Historical Society has a great exhibit at this year’s show. Call in to the basketball stadium to have a look.

1:30PM: The grand opening is about to get underway.
1:25PM: Keziah Kennedy, Owen Gill and Rubi Kelly stopped by to tell us about their win in the art competition.
1.20PM: Little Sasha Heenan has been checking out the exhibits – some are almost bigger than her!
12.55PM: Everything is ready for the sheep dog demonstration, kicking off at 1pm.

12.08PM: Ron and Heather Chesher are doing the rounds before Ron officially opens the show at 1.30pm. Lovely to see these Moruya stalwarts out and about and great to show them our new publishing system.

11.35AM: Matthew Carriage is one of the friendly faces behind the scenes at this year’s show.
11.30AM: Eden-Monaro MP Peter Hendy is enjoying his time at the Eurobodalla District Show. Boundary changes will see him lose Moruya from his electorate at the next election.

11.12AM: The friendly folk from Bendigo Bank are our neighbours at the show today.
11.03AM: Courtney Flanagan, Lilly Grace, and Ella Kay, of Moruya, are having a great time at the show. They reckon the animal exhibits are the best!
11AM: The Fairy LaLa Show is about to get underway – lots of excited kids waiting.

10.36AM: Events in the horse ring are well underway and the car show presentation is happening.
