The woman crashed her car into a roadside drain on Hector McWilliam Drive near Kyla Park late on Tuesday aftenoon and was trapped in the vehicle.
Moruya SES volunteer Lloyd Jones was driving past and noticed the accident and stopped to help, while fellow SES volunteer and Tuross Head resident Danielle Brice received a text message and was also soon on the scene, while an ambulance had arrived as well.
Mrs Brice got into the vehicle and supported the woman’s head as she had complained she had a sore neck.
The front guard of the car was damaged and was preventing the front door from being opened, so Mr Jones forced back the door and the woman was freed.
She was taken to Moruya District Hospital by ambulance and is in a stable condition.
