Journalism movies back in vogue: Truth, True Story, Trainwreck, Spotlight

Hold the front page: a new wave of films about journalists and journalism is about to break. Some are great, some less so. Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford are very good together in Truth, which opens this week. Jesse Eisenberg plays a weaselly Rolling Stone writer who interviews novelist David Foster Wallace (Jason Segel) in The End of the Tour. Jonah Hill plays a disgraced reporter in True Story. Amy Schumer recently lost all objectivity in Trainwreck as she fell into bed with Bill Hader, as the man she is supposed to interview.
