Ms Frigo, 28, of Batemans Bay, and 21 friends and family members took part in the Miss Muddy event in Canberra to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation and the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Ms Frigo, who recently underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer, said her group raised more than $2000.
The Miss Muddy course can be as extreme as you choose and includes tunnels, weights, monkey bars, cargo nets, mud baths and more.
“It was so much fun,” Ms Frigo said.
“The ice bath was terrible. I got stuck in it. My Go Pro got caught in the net. I am going into shock and the Go Pro is stuck and I am screaming, ‘help me’.”
“We are thinking of doing it annually. You start cheering on other women there. It is a very supportive environment. My mum did it and she had a ball.”
Events are held around the country.
