Moruya parties like it's 1999, and Clyde shows pride

Moruya all-age men won its first grand final since 1999 and Clyde United all-age ladies became 2015 champions on a sunny soccer grand final day at Captain Oldery Park in Broulee on Sunday.

Moruya scored in the opening minutes against defending premiers Bodalla and the two sides battled up and down the field without quite managing to score after that in an entertaining decider.

Clyde United and Batemans Bay's ladies sides were locked at 0-0 for what seemed like an eternity before Clyde scored the deadlock-buster and then added two more, for a 3-0 scoreline which belied the quality of the contest.

Earlier, Narooma bear Bodalla in the under 13s 5-0, Bodalla beat Moruya 7-0 in the Youth Boys and Moruya beat Narooma-Bodalla 2-0 in the Youth Girls.
