Participants had been warned to wear warm clothing and there was much speculation about the destination, with Canberra, Robertson or Araluen being the favourites.
After morning tea at Nowra, with the destination still a mystery, it was revealed the first stop was to be the Coolangatta Estate, near Nowra.
Members were to ride to the top of Mount Coolangatta in “Bigfoot”, the vehicle used on the steep and rough climb.
The tour then continued to Kiama Downs Surf Club where members of the Kiama Harbour Com-bined Probus Club provided a welcome barbecue lunch.
After lunch and a short stop at the Kiama produce market the tour returned home after a very enjoyable day.
