The society’s fourth concert for the season will feature Voci Stupende, an outstanding ensemble of the brightest voice graduates from the Sydney Conser-
vatorium of Music.
On the ensemble’s program are popular operatic arias and lieder from the classical and romantic repertoire, some works familiar to many and some maybe not so familiar.
These outstanding young singers, aged from 22 to 26, have performed to great acclaim, and true to the meaning of Voci Stupende, they all possess wonderful voices.
The group has performed in England and Australia since June 2013 to acclaim and audiences on the South Coast are about to be enchanted and enthralled also as they take this evocative journey through the ages of classical song.
The concert on August 9 will commence at 3pm at St Bernard’s Church in David Street, Batehaven.
Tickets will be available at the door for $35, and $30 for Music Society members and concessions.
School students will be admitted free.
The concert will be followed by a short question and answer session with the artists.
For more information, phone Julie Stuart on 4472 5097 or Liz Fisher on 4471 7675.
Patrons please note that the concert has been advertised previously for August 1 and August 5. The correct date is August 9.
