Pony club members from Kiama to Pambula will complete a range of tests and challenges.
It will begin with dressage followed by freestyle dressage.
Riders must have created their own dressage routines for the freestyle competition.
It should be entertaining as riders can perform in pairs, to music and in fancy dress.
The dressage draw is available on the Batemans Bay Pony Club’s Facebook page today.
Younger riders, some on the lead-rope, will also have a fancy dress competition.
The riders of the future will also attempt the showjumping course with poles on the ground.
New jump wings will create an exciting course as the poles get raised into position.
There will be ‘AM5’ which is great to watch for spectators because it’s fast and furious.
The rescue relay will follow and highlights the team work between pairs.
Six-bar, a favourite game of the entrants, will also be held.
It’s an elimination contest with jumps, set in a straight line, increasing each round.
If a pole is knocked down the horse and rider are eliminated.
A full canteen will be available on the day and spectators and horse lovers of all ages are welcome to watch and cheer the riders on from 9am.
A raffle and a horse shoe guessing competition will also be held.
The pony club grounds are on Surf Beach Avenue at Surf Beach.
