Tree causes chaos for highway motorists
A fallen tree closed the Princes Highway, south of Mount Agony Road, leaving motorists stuck for two hours on Sunday afternoon.

Batemans Bay SES volunteers were called after a large spotted gum fell across the highway, blocking both lanes.
SES volunteer Danny McDermott said it took six members almost two hours to clear the tree.
“There were at least five kilometers of traffic (banked up) on either side,” he said.
“Police controlled traffic while we cut it up.”
