5.38pm: An ambulance helicopter has landed at the intersection of Broulee Road and the Princes Highway, south of Mogo, to transport a male patient to hospital.
5.31pm: The NSW Ambulance Rescue helicopter is being sent to airlift a patient from the scene of a two-car accident at Waldrons Swamp, on the Princes Highway, 5km south of Mogo.
An ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were treating two patients. One is a male in his 20s who has suspected head injuries. The second is male in his 30s who has suspected pelvic and shoulder injuries.
5.25pm: A person who was trapped has been freed by Moruya SES.
Ambulance crews are still working to stabilise the patient who was trapped.
5.20pm: A person in a white car is still trapped and is being cut out by Moruya SES crews after an accident on the Princes Highway at about 4.40pm on Thursday, July 23.
Two Broulee Rural Fire Service trucks are also on the scene.
5.16pm: Two cars were involved in the accident, and one person remains trapped.
Authorities report the road will be blocked for at least an hour.
SES crews are attempting to free the trapped person.
5.05: A Batemans Bay Police officer said diversions are in place. Southbound drivers are asked to turn left at Broulee Road and travel via George Bass Drive. Northbound drivers should turn right at Moruya, onto North Head Road and take George Bass Drive.
A police officer said two cars were involved, with one person in each. One person is being airlifted to hospital.
5pm: The Princes Highway is closed in both directions as rescue crews attend a serious accident near Mogo.
4.47pm: Rescue crews are on their way to a car accident near Mogo, with reports of at least one person trapped.
NSW Fire and Rescue crews from Batemans Bay are on their way to the accident, which occurred shortly after 4.30pm.
It is understood the accident occurred between Broulee Road and Waldrons Swamp, five kilometres south of Mogo, on the Princes Highway and at least one person was trapped.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said it was reported to be a two-car accident and paramedics were arriving at the scene at about 4.48pm.
