The friendly group of enthusiastic men and women are welcoming new players, young and old, to play on the clay courts on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8.30am to 10.30am.

The courts are set in an idyllic location, adjacent to the community centre and bocce club, surrounded by trees and birds off Beach Rd in Malua Bay. 

Organiser Helen Hughes encouraged people to take on the challenge as it offered social and physical benefits. 

“If you have just moved into the area or you haven’t played tennis for some time and would like to play again, come along to the Malua Bay Tennis Club,” Hughes said.
