Moruya took the upper-hand early in the first half with a goal to Tim Knight.
Clyde equalised minutes later through Griffin Kauffman and the two sides went into the break at 1-all.
Kauffman scored his second after about five minutes of the second half.
He chased down a loose ball on the flank and one-two pass put him space and his shot sailed into the top right of the net.
Moruya pressed for a goal in the waning light but Clyde's defence dealt with each attacking raid well.
Batemans Bay kicked off proceedings with a 3-1 win against Broulee.
Tom Nutt scored a penalty goal and Batemans Bay had a 1-nil lead at half-time.
Liam Kyle scored the Bay's second goal minutes after the break.
Mid-way through the second half Broulee's Hayden Connor made the most a bobbling ball, and an error in the Bay's back line, to slot his side's first and only goal.
A solo run and goal by Lachlan Mitchell, who cut in from the right side of the 18-yard box, sealed the win.
Bodalla showed its passing skills and made the most of its time on the ball to win 6-nil against Moruya Blue.
Next week will be another seniors' only round held at Captain Oldrey Park.
Bodalla plays Moruya Swans, Broulee tackles Moruya Blue and Clyde United faces Batemans Bay.
