Bottles from companies long since gone, fine English china, nostalgic toys and rare books were a few of the items on offer at the inaugural Batemans Bay Antiques and Collectables Fair on Saturday.

The event, held at the Sunshine Bay Primary School on Saturday and Sunday, attracted a large crowd of people who perused the fair's many exhibits.
As well as several stalls, including for swaps and appraisals, the event featured many displays which ranged from kitsch salt and pepper shakers and collectable toys to military memorabilia and antique postcards.
The Moruya Antique Tractor and Machinery Association also had a display on the school's oval.
Event co-organiser Marc Schuelein said the idea for the fair was sparked by a group of the region's collectors who were regularly meeting for get-togethers and travelling to collectors' fairs in other areas.
The fair continued to 5.30pm and Saturday and was set to reopen from 9am to 2pm on Sunday.
Entry is $5 for adults, $12 for families and free for accompanied children under 12.
