The rear trailer of the truck slipped off the road 8km east of the Araluen township at about 3.30pm last Tuesday, and had to be lifted up by a crane the following day, after which the road was reopened.
Bystanders said the truck was carrying shopping trolleys for a new shopping development, but a Bunnings spokeswoman said the company did not want to comment on the matter.
