Students in years five and six who choose to attend an after school art program have put their work from term two in the Olive Tree Art and Coffee House in Batemans Bay.
Teacher Michelle Hovatta said the exhibition was to promote the children's artwork.
"The students come to the class after school once a week," Ms Hovatta said.
"They have been working on their art for the whole term."
Ms Hovatta said the students were excited about showcasing their art in a gallery.
"They are very happy to have it here," she said.
"The students are really proud of their work.
"They have been working towards this exhibition and it is really nice for them to be able to have their art displayed in a gallery."
The 20 pieces of work from the students have so far had a good response from the public.
"Everyone loves it," Olive Tree Art and Coffee House owner Chrissy Guinery said.
"The students bring their parents and grandparents to see the art."
