The RoboGals, from the ANU, put the Moruya students through a series of challenges on June 16.
“The students proved to be able to cope with these challenges and produced excellent results,” Moruya High School Robo team manager Cathie Webber said.
“Some of the tasks involved avoiding objects.
“Another task was to make the robots find a cross and turn to find the next cross.”
Cathie said the girls had a great time and had developed new skills.
“They learned a lot about programming and engineering,” she said.
The school’s RoboCup team is now busily preparing for the ACT and NSW RoboCup championships.
