A staged development plan for the airport has been presented to a council meeting and endorsed.
There’s nothing really new about the idea of redeveloping Moruya Airport.
Discussions have been occurring since at least the late 1980s.
In the late 1980s-early 1990s, a resident with an interest in the airport suggested ways a redevelopment might be done, which is either identical to or nearly identical to the plan the councillors approved just a few days ago at the meeting.
There’s really nothing new; it’s just seen to be doing to look productive and positive.
