THE Moruya Swans leapt into first place of the Eurobodalla Football Association’s all age men’s competition with a thorough 4-nil win against Broulee at Gundary Oval on Sunday.

The Swans tapped in four goals and held Broulee scoreless for its fifth win from six games.
Clyde United dropped to second, on goal difference, with a 2-1 win against last year’s premiers, Bodalla, at Bodalla Oval.
Batemans Bay showed its young legs against Moruya Blue with a 5-nil win.
Moruya had a few chances to score but was shut down by the Bay’s leg speed.
Batemans Bay is third after six rounds on 13 competition points followed by Broulee, Bodalla and Moruya Blue.
In the all age ladies’ competition, Moruya knocked off competition leaders Clyde United, 1-nil at Gundary Oval.
Batemans Bay and Narooma played an entertaining, end to end match and the Bay was the 4-1 winner.
After six rounds, Clyde remains first with a game in hand.
Batemans Bay is second followed by Moruya and Narooma.
Clyde United retained its form from last week and beat Broulee 6-2 in the youth girls’ competition.
Moruya beat Narooma/Bodalla 3-nil in the other fixture.
In the youth boys’ competition, Clyde United beat Broulee 6-1 and Bodalla beat Moruya 3-nil.
