About 60 riders, from sprockets to the open division, raced six motos each in their respective classes.

Riders from Batemans Bay were joined by competitors from Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Nowra, and the race commentator kept the crowd entertained and informed. 

To uphold the theme, open division riders used bikes built before 1986 and some of the group had raced at Batemans Bay when it held the state championships in 1994.
