On Sunday, the Swans beat last year’s premiers, Bodalla, 3-nil at Bodalla Oval, Broulee beat Moruya Blue 4-nil at Captain Oldrey Park and Clyde United beat Batemans Bay 1-nil at Surfside.
After three rounds, Moruya is first on nine competitions points, Clyde United and Batemans Bay are second and third with six points respectively, Broulee and Bodalla are fourth and fifth on three points and Moruya Blue is sixth, yet to win a game.
There were high scoring games in the all age ladies’ competition on Sunday.
Batemans Bay beat Narooma 5-4 at Dalmeny Oval and Clyde United beat Moruya 5-3 at Surfside in a rematch of last year’s grand final.
After three rounds Batemans Bay is first on six points, ahead of Clyde United by goal difference.
However, Clyde has one game in hand.
Narooma is third on three points and Moruya is fourth.
In round two of the youth girls’ competition, Moruya beat Narooma-Bodalla 5-2 and Broulee forfeited to Clyde United.
In the youth boys’ competition, Bodalla trounced Moruya 15-3 and Clyde United narrowly beat Broulee 4-3.
In the under 12/13s age group, Broulee forfeited to Batemans Bay, Bodalla beat Clyde United 5-3, Moruya beat Clyde Eagles 8-1 and Narooma held of Cobargo 7-nil.
