The march proceeded from the Rivermouth General Store up Sunpatch Parade to the Tomakin Sports and Social Club, where a moving service was held in front of hundreds.
Salvation Army Captain Graham Bruce said the event commemorated the "immortal day" when the young men of Australia, by their deeds and sacrifice, demonstrated to the world at Gallipoli that Australia was truly a nation.
"The sons and daughters of Anzacs came forward without question, accepted gladly, and discharged fully their responsibilities during World War II, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, Vietnam and in Peacekeeping and Peacemaking operations or other conflicts," he said.
"On this day we remember the sacrifice of such men for an ideal, for a way of life.
"Let us take strength in the knowledge and hope that our sons and daughters will never forget the example set by their forefathers."
The service was attended by representatives from most of the shire's schools, as well as Eurobodalla Shire Council and several community groups.
Following the service those who marched attended a breakfast inside the club.
