A 19-YEAR-old Tuross Head woman was caught driving without a licence by highway patrol police on Friday, April 10.
The driver was stopped on Hector McWilliam Drive at Tuross Head by police about 10.25pm and checks revealed her licence was suspended.
She was issued a field court attendance notice and will appear at Moruya Local Court on May 8.
Breath-test refused
A 46-YEAR-old man was charged by Batemans Bay Police for refusing a breath analysis on Sunday morning.
The Arncliffe man was stopped by officers on the Princes Highway at 12.48am on Sunday.
A roadside breath-test was positive and the man was arrested but refused a full breath analysis at Batemans Bay Police Station. He will appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on April 27.
Drink-driver caught
A 33-YEAR-old man was caught drink-driving in Surfside on Friday night.
The man was stopped by police on Berrima Parade about 10.30pm. A roadside breath-test was positive and further analysis at the Batemans Bay Police Station returned a mid-range reading.
The man was charged and his driver’s licence suspended.
Car crash in the wet
POLICE were kept busy with four separate car crashes near Batemans Bay on Sunday, two on the Kings Highway and two on the Princes Highway.
A police spokesman said no-one was seriously injured but some vehicles required towing.
He said slippery road were a factor in the crashes.
