MINI rugby for boys and girls aged four to eleven years old begins on Friday at the Hanging Rock Sports Grounds in Batemans Bay.

The program, run by South Coast Junior Rugby, includes skill sessions and modified games for each age group and is suitable for those new to rugby or kids not yet ready for traditional rugby competitions.
The program runs for 10 weeks, is supported by Brumbies Rugby, and all children will be coached by accredited Australian Rugby Union Smart Rugby coaches.
It costs $45 per child and registration can be completed online or at the ground.
South Coast Junior Rugby Committee President Ronnie Collier said the committee was pleased with the number of registrations for the 2015 program.
“We have over fifty kids registered already with a lot of interest from the younger age groups,” Collier said.
“We have different groups for each age so if kids are four or eight we will have the right standard of drills and games for them.”
