Harman, Tuggeranong, Cooma, Bathurst, Kiama, Ainslie, Nowra, Belconnen and Molonglo also featured in the preseason tournament.
Most games were played over 15-minute halves unless the pool had just two teams.
In group A, Tuggeranong beat Harman 3.3 (21) to 3.2 (20) and also beat Cooma 7.2 (44) to 3.0 (18), which placed the Hawks in the semi-finals.
Harman beat Cooma 7.1 (43) to 3.1 (19).
In group B, Kiama lost to Ainslie 2.4 (16) to 3.2 (20) but beat Bathurst 5.4 (34) to 0.4 (4) to book a semi-finals berth. Bathurst beat Ainslie 6.4 (40) to 0.1 (1).
In group C the Seahawks beat Nowra 5.12 (42) 4.5 (29) in a full-length match and in group D Molonglo beat Belconnen 11.6 (72) to 4.7 (31).
Kiama beat Tuggeranong in the semi-finals and Batemans Bay beat Molonglo 3.2 (20) to 0.3 (3).
Ross Hummel, Jamie Kemp and Tyler Giri were the Bay's goal kickers against Molonglo.
A helicopter dropped more than 1000 golf balls on a pin near the sideline and the winner took home $5000.
