Mr Stove, 20, of Princes Highway, Mogo, was making an application in Batemans Bay Local Court on March 9 to have a three-month suspension on his driver’s licence lifted.
Roads and Maritime Services imposed the penalty on March 3 after Mr Stove had accumulated seven demerit points – three for carrying too many passengers after 11pm and four for driving at 118 to 120km/h on his 90km/h restricted licence.
“If you need your licence, why did you speed and have too many people in the car?” Mr Dick said.
He imposed a six-week licence disqualification.
