A woman with a long history of driving offences was put off the road yet again when she appeared before Batemans Bay Local Court on March 9.
Alicia Ann Goodsell, 32, of Campbell Street, Moruya, was already a suspended driver when she was charged with mid-range drink- driving early in the morning on February 15, after recording a reading of 0.128.
Caught in Cullendulla Drive with five passengers in her five-seat vehicle, she told police she had downed three beers and a rum and mixer and had not eaten for two days.
She was also issued with a suspension notice at the scene.
Two weeks later, on March 1, she was noticed behind the wheel in Evans Street, Moruya.
Magistrate Doug Dick told Ms Goodsell she would have to spend a long time off the road.
On both counts of driving while disqualified, he fined her $500, cancelled her licence for two years and placed her on a two-year good behaviour bond.
For drink-driving, the defendant was fined $500, put off the road for six months and placed on a two-year bond.
